The facts

The Jeju Folk Village is the island’s main tourist attraction where customs of the old days can be explored.

With a total of 117 houses and facilities, Jeju Folk Village has restored the scenes of the village to that of the 1890’s. Among them are Mountain Village, Hill-Country Village, Fishing Village and Shamanism Village. On land of more than 40 acres it has been reconstructed following long-term research and analysis of experts.

Some of the extensive range of folk items on display are 1,627 woodenware, 1,046 bamboo ware, 1,699 earthenware, 1,544 porcelain ware, 765 wax candles, 921 ironware and 579 other items.

Jeju Folk Village is also where Janggeum, the main character of the popular Korean drama, "Jewel in the Palace", was exiled to.

Interesting look into the traditional way of life in Korea.

The place is massive and they did a superb job depicting how Korean life looked like in the historical times. History buffs will have a field day in this place. You need to allot at least a quarter of a day to tour the area since it's really HUGE. They also have pop-up old style cafeteria where you can dine like it was in the olden times. I love that they allow you to interact with the items you see there. Like you can try fetching water on your back using that heavy jug, ironing using wooden rolling pins, etc. Fabulous way to learn your way to Korea's past.

Will go to this place in a month's time but just want to add that the coupon is for the total number of tickets purchased, not just 1 ticket. For example, if you need to buy 5 tickets, you will get 10% off the total of 5 tickets.

Also, the coupon does not need to be printed. It can be shown from phone or tablet.

Thanks to the super fast response from the Trazy Crew :)
