[K Story Tour] Nonsan 1900~50s K-Drama Filming Studio + Sunshine Land 1 Day/ 2D1N Tour - from Seoul

This was such an enjoyable day! Our guide was named Sunni and she filled the long bus rides with information about what we would soon see as well as some games / general chats about Korea to keep us entertained. She also welcomed anyone to take a nap if they preferred. The first stop was to a rest area with a vast cafeteria that included street food style fair, a couple cafe chains, a convenience store, and a restaurant offering some Korean dishes for those who wanted something hearty. It broke up the ride nicely. The bridge was lovely and it is a good spot for photos. There were friendly folks selling souvenirs and local specialty snacks on the other side of the bridge. I actually had only seen Pachinko out of the k-dramas featured in the studio tour but it was equally as fun to experience the world of Mr. Sunshine. If you want to rent clothes to suit the settings (highly recommended), she will gladly show you the way to the rental shop. I didn’t rent costumes but am grateful to everyone who did, as they enhance the immersive experience for the rest of us! Each studio also has a cafe if you’re in need of more snacks and don’t want to wait for the evening rest area restaurant stop. I did not partake in the military training center part of the day—staying in the studio areas instead—but there is plenty of time to do it all if that is your goal. It was a nice facility with friendly staff.

This trip was so much fun and I had an amazing time. The military experiemce was short but fun. The BB was the best but there was also a VR experience that would be fun to check out. The 1950s studios was interesting to see too. Sunshine studio really was the highlight! I would recommend renting the clothes and watching the drama before you go because they really heighten the level of fun.

It was nice to walk around the filming studios for period pieces, the 1900’s studio has the option to rent period clothing to dress up in while you explore and take photos. Nice little day trip, does not leave you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted trying to get everything in before the time ends.

This was a fun and relaxing day tour. I must be honest, we did not watch Mr. Sunshine, we booked the tour because the tour guide is so great and we ran out of ideas where to visit. First we stopped at a service area for lunch. Which was really cool. So many things to choose from. The Sunshine Studio is a gorgeous set where you can take pretty pictures. The experience is even better if you rent a costume, it really transports you into the past, and you feel like you are in a movie. Then we were also able to visit the 1950 Nangman Studio and the Military Survival Experience Center, where we could try how good we are at shooting guns. We even had a competition with the tour guide. As expected, he beat us XD. All in all, it was a great tour. It would probably be even better if you have watched Mr. Shunshine.
