I picked up my sim card at Incheon AIrport Terminal 1 location. The pick up of sim card was easy, the employee kindly explained what information and where to fill. Then the sim card was puted in phone, less in 5 minutes it was prepared to use. Internet works perfectly. Also purchachasing in advance made it easier, didn't need to search the I can buy Korean sim card arrival to Seoul.

I totally recommend it and will book it again the next time I go back to Korea. The card is charged with 40.000 krw. I saved data whenever I could, so when I left Korea still had 5.000 krw of balance left. With the amount charged, you have 1.8 Gb of data, so it's more than enough for texting and maps. Plus, in Korea you can get free WiFi anywhere, so no worries, it's enough. Works super well, you can use the balance also for calls!! (Other SIM cards I saw were more expensive and couldn't even call). I stayed for 1 month this time and didn't have to top up the balance~

This was a great deal! I had a little trouble finding the travel center at Terminal 1 in ICN, but once I got there the process was pretty straight forward. I had to turn my phone off and back on for my SIM card to activate, but since then I've had no problems. I've been in Korea for 9 days and the SIM card has been working great!

The whole pick-up process was extremely fast. There was no queue and the employees were extremely efficient. The employee even tape our original SIM card onto the card so that we won’t lose it, and install it on our phone. Though the description details indicate that it takes 30 minutes to activate the SIM card, it took us less than 5 minutes. The connectivity is great too! Will definitely recommend getting your SIM card here!

Picked up my 30-day sim card at the Travel Center in Incheon Airport Terminal 2. The guy spoke reasonable English and was very friendly. He placed the card and then checked my settings. After asking me to check if it works, he gave me a sheet with more information including my number and also personally explained the things mentioned on the sheet. I have been using the card for more than a week now and it has always been working perfectly. I'd recommend getting a SIM card over a wifi egg, as you don't have to worry about charging the egg or taking an extra item with you.

The SIM card works great! They were friendly and helpful! I landed in Incheon Airport Terminal 1 and when I couldn't find the location to pick up my card, I contacted them through Kakao and they were nice enough to send me a picture of what to look for! Found the place and didn't have anymore problems!

The office is located on 4th floor. The staff speaks very good english. She explained and helped to set the phone. The data speed is fast, but i'd recommend to disable all fb, ig auto refresh activities as they consume so much data. If you are active pokemingo player, in a day you'll consume like 50-80mb. If you topup credit here, youll get 5% discount too. Getting to this place upon arrival at Incheon is straight fwd.Take the normal Arex(not the direct Seoul stop) and stop at Hongik U. No transfers required .

Checklist for booking
  1. Make sure to book with the exact full name on your passport.
  2. If you have used a SIM card in Korea before, please give us the IMEI information of your phone in the required information field. You can find the IMEI information of your phone by pressing *#06# on the dial screen from your phone.
  3. Please make sure to unlock your smartphone through your cellphone carrier before coming to Korea, especially if you are from the United States, Canada or Japan. If your smartphone is locked, you CANNOT use this SIM card.
  4. If you are Korean, you have to be over 18 years old to buy the SIM card. Please also note that Korean nationals cannot activate the SIM card with a passport. You need to present your Korean resident ID card or driving license to activate the SIM card.
  5. You can use the SIM card for ID verification for Korean mobile/web service only if you register the SIM card with a valid Korean resident ID card, such as ARC. If you would like to register your SIM card with your ARC information, please contact the customer center of the SIM card company via the SNS contact info provided on the manual.
  6. You must bring your original passport and credit card to pick up the device.

Does this SIM come with a Korean local 010 phone number?

Yes, a Korean phone number starting with 010 will be issued for all SIM card options.

Can I extend the SIM card for a long period?

Yes, this SIM card can be extended. To extend your SIM card validity beyond 90 days, you must have a valid Residence Card (Alien Registration Card, ARC) and register the SIM card with your ARC. To do so, please contact the customer center via the contact details provided in the manual BEFORE your SIM card expires. If you do not extend your SIM card within 3 days of its expiry, it will be automatically terminated.

Would this SIM stop working if I depart Korea?

According to the Korean law for major telecom companies, regardless of your plan, the SIM card will be terminated once you leave Korea. If you have an ARC and intend to travel outside of Korea, please consult with the SIM card company via the contact details provided in the manual.

What if the SIM doesn't work on my phone?

The universal type SIM card is compatible with phones using standard, micro, and nano SIM cards. Check with your phone carrier to make sure the SIM card is compatible with your device.

Please try the SIM card before you leave the pick-up location. The staff on site can assist you with installation and troubleshooting any issues.
