  1. Make sure to book with the exact full name on your passport.
  2. Please make sure to unlock your smartphone through your cellphone carrier before coming to Korea, especially if you are from the United States, Canada or Japan. If your smartphone is locked, you CANNOT use this SIM card.

Precautions
  • The eSIM card will be activated upon pick up at the airport (Incheon/Gimpo/Gimhae). However, if you wish to activate it later, please inform the staff.
  • eSIM use is calculated on an hourly basis from the moment of activation.

[How to activate eSIM on iPhone]
  1. On your phone, go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM
  2. Open your camera and scan the eSIM QR code.
  3. Setup complete. The eSIM is now active on your phone.
  • In case you install the eSIM plan outside Korea, the SIM card will be activated automatically when you arrive in Korea and your phone is connected to the local network.

Can I extend the SIM card for a long period?

Yes, this eSIM card can be extended if you request to extend it within 72 hours after expiration.

Would this SIM stop working if I depart Korea?

No, this SIM card will not be terminated even if you travel outside of Korea. As long as you return to Korea before the eSIM expires, your service will continue uninterrupted.

What if the eSIM doesn't work on my phone?

The staff at the pickup location will assist you in activating the eSIM on your phone. If the eSIM does not work on your device, you can either receive an alternative physical SIM card or obtain a full refund.
