The Pocheon Art Valley has a breathtaking view of the lake. It was amazing! We also enjoyed the view going up while taking the monorail. I highly recommend buying bread at the Herb Bakery. They have a good selections of delicious breads. We also had fun eating the oreo milkshake in a pot with a shovel-shaped spoon. You would never think that it was a shake until you eat it. The island is huge and has various themes where a lot of photozones are located. We also liked eating at the restaurants as the food are served with edible flowers which they picked from their gardens outside the resto. I do not drink alcohol but I had a good time tasting wines at the Sansawon Brewery and Museum. In the end I bought my favorite, the bubble gum flavored one. Dony, our tour guide, gave each of us one rice wine. We were so happy because we loved the flavor he chose to give away. The next morning we drunk the wine and partnered it with samgyeopsal. The apple picking was the best. We had a great time picking apples, especially my daughter. Their apples were sweet and their apple juice tasted really good that's why we bought all the flavors of apple juice that they sell as well as the apple jam. All in all, this tour was awesome! Not only because of the places we went to but also because we were relaxed all throughout the journey as we were in a limousine bus. My daughter was able to sleep comfortably. We did not feel tired when we got home.

This is my first time in Pocheon, and it was a very pleasant experience with Trazy. We went to an apple farm, and Pocheon Art Valley and Pocheon Herb Island--both Kdrama locations! Availed the 2D1N tour, and since the hotel is already included in the package, the experience was very convenient. Hotel Gallery is very nice and spacious. Close to a CU convenience store, and got a nice view of mountains from my balcony when I woke up! Since Pocheon is about 1+ hours away from Seoul, and I am not sure about the public transportation system in the area, getting in a tour made me maximize my trip. Was able to go to more places, and relax in between.

I had actually never heard of any of these places before but WOW was the sunset at Pocheon Art Valley so stunning... There's even a cafe at the top of the mountain after to take the monorail ride. If you go with Trazy, they'll pick you up and take you everywhere with ease AND a lovely tour guide (thank you Dony~) I took another trip with Trazy where we went to Nami Island and I HIGHLY encourage you to take that trip as well!

We did the 2DN1 Tour and it was really fun ! The tour guide Dony did an amazing job, he was so careful and teach us about Korean history and even added some sense of humor ! We first went to the Odusan Observatory where we had the view directly on North Korea’s land. That was super impressive and I even saw few North Korean farmers. We then went to the DMZ in Imjingak and walked through the freedom bridge. Don’t worry it wasn’t dangerous at all as it is made for tourists and there is also a cable car that took us up there to the Demilitarized zone. We went apple picking and ate a very delicious apple pie. It was always in a nice atmosphere with the whole group. The first day wasn’t over yet as we went to the Pocheon Art Valley to enjoy the fall foliage. The timing was perfect as it was the peak of it. We finally went to the hotel which was unexpectedly reallly nice ! Who would thought to find such a confortable hotel in the middle of the countryside of Pocheon. Too bad I didn’t get the lake side view but it was still enjoyable. The next day we went to the Herb Island which was very colorful at this moment of the year. Then we went to Nami Island which was so crowded. Everyone went there to look at the fall foliage. We went the there on weekdays so I can not imagine how crowded it would be on weekends. I already came few times in Nami Island but never during autumn, and it was so beautiful. It was probably my highlight of the trip ! At the end we went to Petite France and Little Italy. To be honest it was the part I like the less of the trip. Maybe because I’m French ? :p And after that, we went back to Seoul and arrive around 8pm. I really recommend this tour for anyone ! It’s really confortable to just follow the plans, and enjoy everything and it will cost you less than doing the whole thing by yourself for sure ! The guide was really cool and didn’t rush us during the visits. The time management was really well done.

I did the 2DN1 Tour and can absolutely recommend it! The tour was so well organized, informative and fun. Although I have been living in Korea for a year, I have not been to the DMZ yet. So it was more than time that I booked a tour! And I am very glad that I chose this K-Story tour. As always, our tour guide was well prepared, funny and had lots of information at his fingertips. During the drive from Seoul to Odusan Observatory, Dony explained to us the history of divided Korea. His explanation was short but full of the most important facts so that everyone could roughly understand how it came to be and how significant it is to this day. From the Odusan Observatory, we could look at North Korea through normal or highly modern digital binoculars. Dony even showed us some North Korean field workers and explained that we were only about a kilometer away from a North Korean village. Inside the observatory is a gallery of drawings and texts from affected families, all about the desire for reunification. The second stop was the actual DMZ in Imjingak. We walked to the Freedom Bridge, saw a small bunker, and took a cable car into the middle of the Demilitarized Zone. Since it does not have the highest security level there, we hardly saw any soldiers, so even though the Korean division is a very serious and sad topic, there was no dull or tense mood. After a short lunch we went with our small private van to an apple farm and picked apples ourselves, took a small ride with a cart and ate warm apple pie and drank fresh apple juice. Due to a small change of plans, we went to Pocheon Art Valley next, which was a really good twist. That way we could go up the mountain with the monorail without a hurry and enjoy a little walk and coffee with a wonderful view. Just in time for sunset we walked down the small hill again and saw the sun disappear behind the Fall Foliage covered mountains. The hotel was well equipped and perfectly fine. Since there is a Noraebang (karaoke room) in the basement of the hotel and our room was right above it, it was quite loud until about 10 pm, but that was not a big problem for us and for a small city like Pocheon, the hotel was great. In the morning of the second day we went directly to Herb Island, which is basically a small theme park without an obvious theme. :D From a herbal museum, dinos, fairy tales, runningman, squid game, tanks, Halloween to couple photo spots and other attractions, I guess there is something for everyone. On weekends and with more visitors I imagine it to be quite funny because then the small booths will be open everywhere. Since we were there on weekdays, some booths were closed, but so we could at least make the best photos without waiting. Our most important stop of the second day was Nami Island. And what can I say: I heard a lot about Nami Island in advance, but it exceeded my expectations by far. I really just imagine the island to be so beautiful in any season and could have spent the whole day there. Although we came on weekdays, there were an incredible amount of people, but because of our top tour guide, everything went very smoothly and we didn't have to wait long or get stressed. We had enough time to walk around the island, have something to eat, take endless photos and admire the beautiful autumn colors. It was magical! Last stop before we went back to Seoul was Petite France and an Italian Village near Nami Island. It wasn't really authentic there, but had a very unique charm because of the beautiful view. Again, I can imagine that it's a little more fun on the weekends than on weekdays. All in all, the tour was just awesome and incredibly fun. My two highlights were the view to North Korea and Nami Island.

Again, I can imagine that it's a little more fun on the weekends than on weekdays. All in all, the tour was just awesome and incredibly fun. My two highlights were the view to North Korea and Nami Island.

Interesting and fulfilling tour where you not only get to pick apples but also visit a brewery and sample the various alcohol available. However, the free time given for the Art Valley and Herb Island was a little tight so if you wish to fully explore everything, you will have to move fast. Probably if about 15 minutes more was given for each of these two places, it would be just right.

This is probably my favorite itinerary out of all of the KStory tours I’ve been on. Before finding this tour on Trazy, I had never even heard of Pocheon before. But from start to finish, we had nothing but an amazing time. The Pocheon Art Valley was a beautiful and relaxing start to our day. Then we explored the Herb Island; there is quite a bit of walking involved here, so wear proper shoes! The garden area was the main attraction (definitely worth the hike), but I also recommend going to the bakery/café (they had so many delicious fresh breads laid out) and the gift shop (they had many samples and offered their own line of herb perfumes, soaps, etc). The restaurant here was just okay- I would recommend snacking at the bakery and having some lavender ice cream afterwards instead. Next was our favorite part of the tour: the brewery. They didn’t have any English translations, but Dony did a great job at explaining a lot of the background to us. Trying all the different types of Korean alcohol was such a fun experience (pictured below are a few of my favorites). They provided snacks as well, and the outdoor area was even prettier than the pictures show. The atmosphere was so nice- I highly recommend the tour for this location alone! We ended the day with some apple picking. I wish we could have explored the field a bit more, but we were all pretty tired anyways and enjoyed getting to try the apples (the workers gave us even more apples and fresh apple juice to try, which was very sweet of them). The bus itself was SO COMFORTABLE and we couldn’t have been happier with this tour! Thank you again Dony!

This was another fun day with Trazy and our guide Dony. This time we met up in Seoul and took a bus all the way to Pocheon. The bus was once again a great choice and so comfy because as soon as you sat down , they would close the light and would feel your eyes getting heavier so everyone slept well when we were on the bus. We didn't have much time to properly enjoy everything but we managed to visit the main point each time. The man made lake in Art Valley was really so pretty and if you have the energy do climb up the stairs to see the view. You won't regret ! For Herb island do visit the mulhi and take pretty pictures all around... warning this is another hill to climb so get good shoes, water and once you're up do treat yourself with either a lavender ice cream or hibiscus ice cream. Both were really yummy and just what we needed after the climb. The santa's were a bit kitsch but still fun if you love christmas. For the food, there wasn't much choice so if you're picky or don't like flowers in your food do bring some food with you. We also visited a makeolli brewery , for those of you curious yes you get to taste all the alcohol the brewery has to offer. You can buy some too and we even got a bottle of makeolli when we left! The last stop and the quickest one was the apple farm where we got to pick some apples. You have a choice between mini apples and big apples : the smaller ones are more sour and sweet and bigger ones are sweet , watery and very crunchy. To me they kinda tasted a bit like Jonagold but watered down. The owner also provided us with a cup of apple juice and of course some apple to taste. Before you leave do check their produce as they offer apple vinegar, jams and of course apple juice! We left around 5PM and got back in Seoul 2 hours later due to the traffic. Do go to the toilet before leaving the last stop as the bus will drive non stop! All in all it was a very busy, fun but tiring day trip but we brought so much back and made good memories and met new people which made our trip even better! Thanks again Trazy and Dony for another great tour! I hope more people will have the chance to discover these spots !

What a charming little trip. The weather was perfect and since it started early and on a weekday, the places weren't crowded at all. A well organized and executed trip with a kind and helpful tour guide. I especially loved that even though this was a group tour, we had a lot of down time to do our own exploring before returning back to the bus. Great day trip from Seoul! Can't wait to take more ~

Pocheon Art Valley was a beautiful place to visit and the walk down the valley back to the bus had a lot of artwork to enjoy. Herb Island was very pretty as well, we went during the day, but I could see a lot of decorative lights everywhere so I bet it would be a gorgeous place to visit after dark. We also had a brief stop at a traditional brewery that offered samples and I found this delicious raspberry alcohol. Finally we stopped to pick apples and everyone got to pick a few apples to take home and then we were served to fresh apple juice and apple slices, they also had some baby goats that everyone got to fawn over for a few minutes. It was a jam-packed day that left me very exhausted but was so much fun and gave me the opportunity to try new activities that I normally do not do. I would highly recommend this tour. Added note- I tried to add more pictures, but it kept telling me the files were too big😢sorry.

Great tour and tour guide! We really enjoyed Ponchon Valley and the whole experience. Our tour guide was entertaining and very helpful. I recommend booking a foot massage in advance at Herb Island and getting their signature Bi Bim Bap.
