An unforgettable 2 days 1night tour with Trazy! This was my third tour with Dony as the tour guide, and it was the most memorable tour I had during my visit in Korea. The trip to 2 cities: Jecheon and Danyang was very enjoyable with the concept of culinary and relaxing trip in the 1st day, and exciting and extreme tour in the 2nd day. Price wise this tour was super worth it! Especially considering that cost already included KTX, enjoyable Jecheon Gastro Tour, very nice and comfortable hotel, and etc. I was so fortunate that I took this tour since the following day of the tour was the day I return back to my country. and was so grateful to have such an amazing humorous friendly tour guide and also other tour participants who were super cool and nice! No regret! :)))

Had the best time with our guide Dony and everyone on the tour that day! I'm so glad to have joined this guided tour to Jecheon, and I hope more visitors get to see this city! It's not too far from Seoul, easy to access via KTX, the gastro tour was sumptuous (be prepared for a stuffed stomach), and the cable car ride to Bibongsan Mountain offered an amazing view! We stayed at the peak till sunset and the panoramic view was so unreal! A day well spent. Dony truly made our day joyful and entertaining. I appreciate that we were given some free time as well at the peak, so it's that was quite nice. 100% would join Trazy's tour again the next time I come back to Korea t explore other provinces / cities less travelled. Thank you Trazy for making booking so easy for foreigners!

This tour is very unique from all the trips that we joined. It was our first time to join a Gastro Tour. We had a lot of fun tasting K-food. First, we ate the Bulgogi with glass noodles. It was so good that we finished everything. It was the first time my daughter finished 1 cup of rice. She is a picky person so I can really say that she really loved it. Aside from that, there were a lot of side dishes. Then we had the cold noodles. To be honest, at first, were hesitant to try it. For us, it was weird to have noodles that is not hot. But we were glad that we had a chance to taste it. We were surprised that it actually taste nice. My daughter liked it. You will really never know if the food is good or not if you will not try it. We plan to eat the cold noodles again in the summer. It is a must! Afterwards, we went to a tea house. The tea was partnered with a rice cake. The aroma and bitterness of the tea compliments the rice cake with cream inside. It was so yummy, we finished it even if we were already full. The last meal was the spicy rice cake. It was different from the usual spicy rice cake that we had here in Seoul. Some of the participants partnered it with beer. Since we do not drink beer, we ordered grape soda. At first we taught of just saving it for dinner but when we had tried one, we cannot stop finishing what we had. The best part of the trip was the foot spa. It was so relaxing. After we ate, we were able to soak our feet in the warm water with herbal foot spa bag. My daughter was so amazed of the experience. It was her first time to have a foot spa. She said that the water looks like a tea because of the herbs. After soaking the feet in the water, we dried it naturally. Then we massaged our feet with a natural herb moisture cream. It was satisfying as we massaged our feet. The cream was not sticky and dried fast but you can still feel that the feet was moisturized. The owner of the spa was very kind. He gave us complimentary tea and some goodies even if it was not part of the tour. He was also making sure that everyone was having a good time, comfortable and relaxed while having the foot spa. Later we were delighted to ride the cable car as it was different from all the cable cars that we took here in Korea. The view was mountain, not sea. What my daughter cherished most was the farm that you can see at the bottom. She was so happy spotting chickens, horses, sheep and many other farm animals while the cable car was going up and down the mountain. Aside from that, the view was magnificent especially when you are on top. We had a lot of great photos as there were so many photo spots. We were so glad that this kind of tour was offered. Aside from being able to taste yummy K-food, relaxing at the spa with healing benefits, being fascinated by the awesome view of the mountain, there was a bonus part in the itinerary. At the very beginning of the tour, we headed first to the Mosan Airfield where the BTS filmed their music video for Young Forever. There were also purple flowers planted at the side of the field were you can take photoshoot aside from the actual field. We really had a great time with this tour especially because of Dony, our tour guide. He was so accommodating. My daughter liked him so much that he followed him the whole trip. She even asked me to take the same cable car with him. This is one of our favorite tour that's why we plan to go back again to this wonderful place and experience more of Jecheon.

This 2D1N tour to Jecheon and Danyang was unexpectedly beautiful! Honestly, I haven't heard much about this area before this trip, so I traveled without much expectations. Now after doing it, I'm sooooooo glad that I took the tour and was able to explore a still quite unknown corner of the Korean peninsula. We met at Cheongyanyni Station to take the KTX and from the beginning everything was very well organized. Our tour guide Dony was just great and made the whole trip even MORE special. Once we arrived in Jecheon, it took less than 5 minutes for our private bus to pick us up - just very well planned and timed. First stop was Mosan Airfield, famous for the BTS music video "Young Forever". Even for someone who is not a big Kpop fan, the scenery was really nice to look at. Right after that we went to downtown Jecheon and did the Jecheon Gastro Tour with a korean guide. Jecheon is known for natural herbs and spices that were used in the dishes and the restaurants were awarded for it by the city. Accordingly, the dishes were incredibly delicious, my favorite being the Korean cold noodles! After all the food we went to relax in a foot spa cafe and got a brilliant hot herbal tea. The owner and his wife explained everything in detail and Dony did the best job translating it for the people who didn't understand Korean. After an hour bus ride (which we all kinda needed a bit), we took the cable car up Bibong Mountain. Incredibly nice photo spots, brilliant views and a cafe, convenience store and a small hike invite you to spend hours there :D After a short walk around Uirimji Reservoir and a quick dinner, we finally arrived at the hotel, which actually far exceeded my expectations. For a small town like Jecheon, the hotel was really nice and well equipped. On the second day we got up extra early and went to Dodam Sambong. This view!!! It felt absolutely unreal, how the mist floated over the water between the stone rocks and the small Hanok Pavilion. And just 15 minutes later, the fog was gone too.... So it was definitely worth getting up a little earlier than planned! Next stop was the Mancheonhwa Skywalk, but before we went up there, we briefly tried an Alpine Rollercoaster. Super fun for adrenaline junkies! The skywalk also offered a great view and since we were there a little earlier and it was not too crowded, whoever wanted could take a zipline from there back to the parking lot. Before we went to my absolute highlight, we made a stop at Gosu Cave. In the cave it was a bit warmer than expected and you had to walk a bit up and down, so I recommend taking a water with you. But the rocks and stalactites were very beautiful to look at and again it was worth it! Our final stop and my absolute highlight was the Café Sann and the paragliding activity offered there! I dared the jump with my partner and can only recommend it to everyone!!! It was breathtakingly beautiful and after the first adrenaline rush you could really enjoy the flight. Dony recommended us to take the dynamic course, even though I wasn't sure if I wasn't too scared for that. But it was absolutely the right decision and it was incredibly fun!!! All in all, this tour was extremely well planned and executed, our tour guide was funny, structured and had sooo many interesting facts to tell about the places we went to. The places visited were more than beautiful and offered wonderful views. I can recommend this trip 100%!

I went on the 2 day/1 night tour, which I have to say was quite the experience. Jecheon & Danyang areas for the tour are a good bit away from Seoul, which was what I was looking for out of the tours I had time to do. Jecheon was a quiet little city that seemed to include a lot of farmland/lake lands - all surrounded by mountains. I rather enjoyed the atmosphere; in some ways it reminded me of the American Midwest - just with mountains. Danyang also seems to be both a city and county like area, which is also on the smaller side giving off a more rural vibe much like Jecheon. Probably my favorite part of this tour was the foods available in the area. In Jecheon we ran around to a couple different restaurants, a tea shop, picked up a snack at the market and enjoyed it at a brewery that was also in the market. I don't think everyone will enjoy all the different foods, but there should be something for everyone! The first restaurant was my favorite, a delicious bibimbap with about a million banchan (side dishes). They say the bimbimbap is made with medicinal herbs but it just tasted like deliciousness to me. Another member in the tour asked to try the fermented soybean dish... the smell was quite powerful, but after my nose stopped being so offended, I gave it a try...tasted alot like bean soup - I don't expect you to believe me to though, I sure wouldn’t. There was also salted mackerel or other white fish, really good flavor when eaten with rice & banchan. Our next stop was a cold noodle shop - a delicious warm tea was served first, I wish I knew what tea this was as it was nice. The cold noodles come with a slightly salty paste and some fresh vegies. My main take away was that the dish had a cucumber-ish flavor to it. I felt the cold noodles would have been nice after a long day under the sun. The tea shop had an interesting rice cake & tea pairing. The rice cake was made with some local medicinal ingredients which gave it a flavor like a common vegetable we have all had imo, I don't want to spoil it by saying which! Very unique and awesome paired with the jujube tea. At the Jecheon market we picked up skewered (fried?) fish cakes to take over to the pub, these were alright - I’ve never been huge on fish cake so that’s a thumb up. I've never been a fan of beer, so no big comments on the brewery - a nice atmosphere to sit and munch though. The rest of the day was pretty relaxing, with a stop at a foot spa where we soaked our feet in what I would describe as good smelling tea baths. We took a cable car up to the top of a mountain which provided a nice view of the Jecheon area. There was a shinny building part way down the mountain that you could walk down and check out... its 531 stairs down (and back up), not sure i'd recommended the effort on those stairs, especially knowing that day 2 brings a "few" more stairs into your life. **We rested up in Jecheon and started our next day** Driving between the cities provides a nice view of the rural area that we were in with the lakes & mountains providing great backdrops. We did a bunch of activities on day 2, starting with a lovely alpine roller coaster ride down the mountain (it was like a little roller coaster where you can control your own speed to an extent). Disclaimer: I was really close to being overweight so you may want to check on that if you are a big on the bigger side... Korean rides are made for Koreans after all :) After that we took a short bus ride to the top of the mountain and went up on the skywalk to get a view of Danyang - again impressive views, being from the American Midwest I always find mountains to be amazing. You can also see what I think is a concrete factory and the mountain they are harvesting stone from up here, its impressive how we can just chew through a mountain like that. Next up was Gosu Cave which was one of my favorite activities, as you get to see stalagmites and other cave things that I'd only really seen in books. The water inside the cave was super clear as well, I wonder if it's drinkable... Finally, we headed up to Cafe Sann where several members in the group did the paragliding, The view is again spectacular and there is an amazing cafe on site. If you aren't paragliding don't hesitate to go up to the top of the cafe to get the best views. This was a great tour with a good tour guide (Dony). This is one of those hidden gems where you get to feel like you are following in the footsteps of what a local Korean might do when in the Jecheon/Danyang areas, which seem to have a local (not international) tourist vibe. P.s. Danyang is known for black garlic, there is a black garlic icecream - it had flavors similar to licorice but yet different... I recommend if you're feeling adventurous!

This tour was amazing! As always, Dony was a great tour guide - funny, helpful, and always full of useful information! This was the third tour I've been on with Dony as my guide, and I cannot recommend his K-Story tours enough. We took the KTX from Cheongnyangni, and then took a private bus to Mosan airfield, the filming location for BTS' Young Forever music video. The runway was beautiful and everyone got a chance to take pictures, but as there isn't much else to do there we didn't stay for long. Next we went on a walking tour of the famous dishes of Jecheon with a knowledgable local guide, who Dony translated for. The food was all delicious, and everyone found something they loved. Next, we went to the foot spa to relax, where the owner kindly gave us a free sample from their shop to take home. We then went on to the cable car up to the peak of Bibong Mountain, where there was a short hike that you could choose to take to another beautiful viewpoint. The views from the cable car were stunning even though the weather was a little hazy when we were there, so I can only imagine that it's breathtaking on a clear day. Finally, we returned to the market in Jecheon at the end of the day for some unaccompanied free time, and then headed back to the train station to get the KTX back to Seoul. Overall, I cannot recommend this trip enough. Even though Jecheon is only about an hour away from Seoul, it feels worlds apart from the busy city life, and gives you an opportunity to see Korea as Koreans see it.

YESSSSSSS! DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone needs to try this tour, it was amazing. If I were alone I would have never found this hidden gem, the views are absolutely insane. We did a little food tour on the first day, and it was awesome! I got to try a bunch of new foods, there were some I likes, some I didn't, but I'm still glad I got to try all of them. The tour guide Dony arranged the schedule based on our needs, if we weren't hungry we would just switch a few things around and do the activities first. We did cable cars, and again, the views were INSANE. Even me, being afraid of heights, couldn't help but be in awe of the view. Beautiful, and absolutely surrounded by mountains. Can't forget the relaxing food bath and tea. :) I went in a group of seven other people, and towards the end of the first day we started to get a little closer, and even made a small detour when we went to the small Skywalk to "mini lotte world". It was just a small arcade thing next to a closed down theme park, but it was a really cute memory. On a side note, the hotel stay was really nice, I loved room, it had a good amount of space, and had all the accommodations you might need (including skincare and a razor!?!?!) The day after was packed with adventure. We saw some floating islands, walked up a lot of stairs, went to an amazing Skywalk (this one you actually climbed UP for), went up on those little racing carts, I decided to pay extra to ZIPLINE down! (Ik, I did this while being afraid of heights, I was screaming the whole way down). And afterwards went up the mountain to Sann cafe and I decided to do paragliding. I even got a discount because the company Dony worked for had a collaboration going on with the store. Now I'm sadly heading back, I definitely would have stayed longer. I know I keep saying this, but I can not express enough how insane the views were. Just mountains, behind mountains, behind mountains of mountains. Loved every second of it, would definitely reccomend for anyone unsure to TRY IT. JUST DO IT. You won't regret it, and with a caring guide like Dony you won't have to worry about a single thing. He takes care of everything, and everyone. He makes sure you're enjoying yourself, and might crack a good joke or two. I'm still funnier than you Dony, don't be jelous, and don't miss me too much 😋 jkjk, you're the best ♡

It was a truly nice healing and fun trip, definitely as described in the title:boost your energy. The trip is totally worth the money! The guide Dony is very nice and punctual. We met at the train station to take the KTX for one hour, then we got on the bus that was waiting for us at jecheon station and we headed to the Mosan Airfield where a BTS MV was filmed(definitely worth it if you're an army) and unexpectedly there was a really beautoful lavender frield, it was my first time seeing a lavender field so I was really delighted. then we headed downtown for the gastro tour. Honestly for the fee we paid, the gastro tour was almost FREE and it included many rounds and restaurants where we tried delicious local Korean food. We started off by bulgogi(Korean sweet mariniated beef) and chungugjang(fermented soy bean stew) which was handmade by the store owner, it was a really nice experience. then we moved to another restaurant where we had spicy and sweet cold Korean buckwheat noodles served with a healthy tea, and it does not stop here hehe then we had some a Korean tea session with some special rice cake, it was really healthy and yummy. Then we tried special spicy sauce fich cake which I really liked and we chased it down with a soft drink(as I dont drink beer)/beer. then we took the bus to the foot spa cafe, it was definitely a healing and relaxing time while we were sipping some delicious and healthy korean tea. after an hour of relaxing we took the bus to the cable car area to get all the way to the top of the mountain. The cable car there was one of the longest cable car rides I have ever gotten on and the view was amazing. The view at the top was beathtaking was we could see all the forst in the surrounding area and the river. we also saw some people doing paragliding and monorail we stayed there for about an hour and soaked in the beautiful view of the top of the mountain. then we took the bus again to head to the market for dinner and some shopping. Then we took the bus to the train station and took the ktx back to Seoul. Definitely recommend this trip!

Love this tour that was like a hidden gem, seeing a truly local side of Korea in Jecheon. So convenient because it was just 1 hour train ride from Seoul followed by bus, all arranged by our tour guide! It was really a relaxing day, loved the Mosan Airfield which would be meaningful for anyone who knows BTS, and the gastro food tour was very yummy! Highlight of the trip was definitely the cable car up the mountains, the view was so beautiful beyond words! Perfectly relaxing day outside of the city. Our guide Dony was also very warm and energetic, sharing with us all about local Jecheon and making us feel very comfortable. My mum enjoyed the day trip too so it’s perfect to be done with older folks as well. 즐거운 하루 보냈습니다! 진심으로 감사합니다!

it was honestly one of the best trip I went! The tour guide was very nice, his name is call dony, he took photos of our family and send to us via kakaotalk. I have been to korea many times but I have not been to Jecheon. The city is really beautiful and their local food is delicious! We also went to their traditional market to try the spicy fishcake with beer! BEST COMBINATION EVER! Very grateful to Trazy for organizing this event and I hope they will organize more dates for such 1 day trips!
