I was so excited to finally try surfing in Korea. I included photos of the surf shop. You need to walk up stairs to reach the cashier and changing areas. They have an area to change and take a shower. When you go surfing, the water is really shallow, you can stand while holding the surf board. This is perfect for beginner surfers and children. However, it can get crowded in the water because of all the surf shops and their customers in the water. The staff was friendly and kind, and I would most definitely return if I get the chance!

We had such a BLAST! Our instructor, Kanta, was so kind and everyone that worked there too. They made sure we were staying safe (surfing & covid) and we were able to have so much fun even in the midst of covid!

Meet at Songjeong Surfing School for a brief orientation of the facilities. You'll learn about water sports safety precautions, surf etiquette, and the equipment you'll be renting. Afterward, you'll be assigned a wetsuit and head to the beach.
▲ Land Training
Practice popping up on a surfboard, basic paddling, and take-off postures under the instructor's guidance.
▲ Training in Water
Head into the water, learn to navigate waves, and position yourself in the lesson area. The instructor will assist you with take-offs in the whitewash zone and guide you on timing.

Are there age restrictions?
Yes, this activity is suitable for ages 12 and up.
Do I need to bring anything?
Yes, please bring a swimsuit, a personal towel, and toiletries. Shower facilities are available at the surf shop.
Do I need prior surfing experience?
No experience is needed for beginner lessons - they're perfect for first-timers! However, if you plan to rent a surfboard and wetsuit without taking a lesson, some prior surfing experience is required.
Is same-day booking available for this experience?
