Located about 200 kilometers south of Bangkok, Ban Phe is a small town in Rayong Province on the eastern Gulf of Thailand. Ban Phe became famous among tourists as there are piers to take ferries and speedboats to Koh Samet. Aside from being the departure point for Koh Samet, Ban Phe is a great place to enjoy fresh seafood. Near the port, there are some small markets, restaurants, guesthouses and internet cafes.
