Suvarnabhumi International Airport has become a new hub airport in Thailand and South-East Asia after its opening in 2006.
It is about 30 km east of Bangkok city and takes about an hour to the main destinations.
The name of this airport, a little bit hard to pronounce, means 'The Golden Land'. It is also called the 'new Bangkok airport' or 'BKK' according to its IATA airport code.
The design of this airport is really unique and beautiful. If you have enough time, give a try to have a look around it.
