The SIM worked as advertised. It was quick and convenient to pick up from the terminal, and there were staff to help if needed. There is a small metal hook to remove your SIM holder from your phone.

It was quick and easy to book and pick up, Wifi sim worked perfectly as soon as I set it up. Quick and easy. Worked perfectly for myself throughout the trip, only downfall is Hotspot can be a bit tricky sometimes. Some people I shared with experienced some problems.

I bought one for my sister and I after looking through some articles on it and it was such a life saver! Before this we had used an egg and it was such a hassle worrying about when it would run out of data and it ran out pretty quickly. It was also nice since we each had our own lte now. I’m going again this summer and will be purchasing it again most likely! I picked it up at the hongdae location which was a bit hard to find just because you wouldn’t think it was the building it was in, but once I figured it out it was quick and easy and the lady was really nice. Even gave me a lollipop lol

I'm so thankful for this! I rented a wifi router from my home country and it died halfway through the trip.. as most sim card collection counters are in the airport, I didnt have time to travel all the way from the city... Luckily there is this service here so I collected in Hongdae area which is very near to my accommodation! The connection was very strong on 4G LTE throughout the trip! Highly recommended

Picked up SIM card at the KT Roaming Booth in Incheon. The directions were helpful and the process to get the SIM was smooth. SIM included both data and a phone number. Both proved to be useful in communicating with the hotel & airbnb that I booked. The SIM Card worked all over Seoul with no issues in connection. It even worked during my 2 day trip to Vivaldi Park - Daemyung Resort, which was almost 2 hours away from Seoul. The SIM was essential for me during my trip as it allowed me to connect to google maps, research on different locations, check email, etc. The only flaw would be the speed, which was not as fast as expected for LTE (See attached photo), however, it does seem to be unlimited as I used it all day streaming videos and music with no issues. Overall, I had a great experience using this SIM card for 10 days. Connection was stable wherever I went in Seoul, I was provided with a local phone number, and although the speed isn't the fastest, it seems to be unlimited. If you are a solo traveler, I would recommend getting a SIM card over a Wifi Egg as you only need to worry about charging your phone and don't have to carry an extra device around. Just make sure your phone is unlocked to be able to use this SIM.

SIM Card Extension
You can extend the validity of the SIM card for 5/10/30 days. Instructions on how to charge your credit can be found in the manual that comes with the SIM card.
  • 5 days: 27,500 Won
  • 10 days: 38,500 Won
  • 30 days: 71,500 Won
*You must extend your SIM card BEFORE your current expiry date and as long as you extend your usage, you can use this SIM card for as long as you choose.
*Call/SMS credits are not included in the extension fee.
  • Only 1 SIM card can be purchased per person.
  • The SIM card will be activated upon pick up at the airport (Incheon/Gimpo/Gimhae). However, if you wish to activate it later, please inform the staff.
  • MVoIP calls via Facetime, Skype, LINE, Kakao, Whatsapp or Messenger are supported.
  • You can share the internet connection with other devices via tethering.
  • The universal type SIM is compatible with phones using standard, micro and nano SIM.
  • Calling/SMS is available if you charge your credits upon picking up your SIM card. You can charge 5,500 / 11,000 / 22,000 Won. If you do not charge your credits upon pick-up, you can only receive incoming calls or SMS.

Checklist for booking
  1. Make sure to book with the exact full name on your passport.
  2. If you have used a SIM card in Korea before, please give us the IMEI information of your phone in the required information field. You can find the IMEI information of your phone by pressing *#06# on the dial screen from your phone.
  3. Please make sure to unlock your smartphone through your cellphone carrier before coming to Korea, especially if you are from the United States, Canada or Japan. If your smartphone is locked, you CANNOT use this SIM card.
  4. You must bring your original passport and credit card to pick up the device.
    *Photocopies or scans of passports will not be permitted.
  5. If you are Korean, you have to be over 18 years old to buy the SIM card. Please also note that Korean nationals cannot activate the SIM card with a passport. You need to present your Korean resident ID card or driving license to activate the SIM card.
