This tour was so fun and memorable. The activities were well paced so that we did many fun things but there were breaks in between so we weren't exhausted by the heat. My favourite part was the kayaking!

Our guide was so friendly and helpful, while still keeping everyone moving so we weren't late for anything.

I didn't even know that Halong Bay was one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature or a UNESCO World Heritage Site before I visited Vietnam, but I'm very glad I went. The one-day tour was perfect to see the bay, hike through a beautiful cave and go kayaking around the islands, including under the famous Incense Burner Island. The food on the boat was amazing, and the tour guide gave a ton of really interesting information about the bay.
Do I think the tour was worth it! Of course! I wouldn’t say Halong Bay is some out-of-this-world location that I want to see over and over (like the Isle of Skye), but it’s certainly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’m glad I did and would be kicking myself if I had missed. I hope you can get there too during your visit to Vietnam!

Holy cow! I can't even begin to describe how incredible this food tour is! The tour guide Lan was so knowledgeable and really did bring us to the best restaurants in town. As to the food, I'm simply speechless. I had no idea Vietnamese food was that good. We had eight different dishes, and each one was incredible. I learned all about the French influence on Vietnamese cuisine (specifically the bahn mi), just how good pho can be, and had egg coffee become one of my favorite drinks anywhere. I can't recommend this tour nearly enough. It should definitely be your first activity in Hanoi so you know all the different meals to try, or just so you can keep revisiting the same restaurants over as I did.

The pick up was on time and the bus ride was smooth. The guide was very kind and made sure that we were taken care of. (I ended up giving him some tip for gratitude) Our group was bigger than I thought and we got to take pictures of each other.
Once we arrived, we took a shuttle (buggy car) inside the park and were lead to the sanctuary which was just breathtaking. While it was quite devastating to see the remnants of the war as there were big holes in between the sanctuary, it was also great that some countries helped Vietnam to preserve such a valuable relic. The not too sunny weather also helped a lot for us to wander around more freely. One of the most interesting things was the letters engraved from the champa kingdom which still haven't been analyzed till this day. (Wonder what their message is all about)
It was definitely a fun day out and the tour completed our whole Hoian trip.
After the tour, we were dropped off right in the central Hoian downtown. The old town was just 10 mins away by walking.
I think the price is just way too cheap! It's all very worthy and highly recommended if you are staying for some days in Hoian.
