Dora Observatory is located nearby the 3rd Tunnel and the northernmost observatory in the South where you can see North Korea closest at hand.
From this observation platform, the propaganda village, farmland of North Korea, some city area of Gaeseong, Gaeseong Industrial Complex and a bonze statue of Kim Il-Seong can be seen through a telescope.

I did not know North Korea is this close to South Korea. I felt weird when I saw the real North Korean people and soldiers through the telescope. It was a very unique fun experience.
