If you want to taste authentic dakgalbi, Chuncheon is the place to go. This delicious Korean dish originates from here and is essentially a spicy stir-fried chicken dish served in a large pan along with sesame leaves, leeks, sweet potatoes, rice cakes and noodles. The sauce is composed of red pepper paste, minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, pepper and sugar.
Though there are many dakgalbi restaurants in Chuncheon, especially along the Dakgalbi Street, but this restaurant is one of the best! It has even been featured on television and been praised for having chicken that doesn't have any unpleasant fatty scent and for the fact that the chicken doesn't stick to the pan when being cooked.
