Gugok Pokpo (Waterfall) is natural waterfall, resided in a natural recreational park up in Namsan-myeon area near Bonghwasan mountain.
Since February 13th, 1981 it becomes one of Chuncheon city’s official tourist attractions. Part of the 15 routes to visit of Noseondo Routes.
The falls height about 50m, it twisted 9 different times before the waterfalls hit down from a huge stone wall.
It also beautifully surrounded by interesting rock formations, includes the famous Haneulbyeokbawi Rock.
This recreational place also provided semi traditional restaurants, snack bar, try enjoy Sanchae Bibimbap (Mountain Vegetable Rice topped with lots of freshly picked mountain shoots and leafy green vegetables) and traditional liquor makkeoli here.
Get ready with strong feet to step a very steep stairs to get into the falls. Once up there, a high wide terrace available for visitors to take photo conveniently.

Great hiking place nearby Bonghwasan mountain. Though the waterfalls don't have big water coming down, the mountain area itself already a big treat for its scenery specially during Autumn.
