The facts

Bang Pa-in Palace is a half hour's drive from the south of Ayutthaya and an hour's drive from the north of Bangkok along the banks of the Chao Phraya River.

It had constructed in the 17th century and reconstructed in the 19th century after destroyed by Burmese in the 18th century. This Palace has been used as Summer Palace for many Kings of Thailand but distinctively, it is known popularly as a pot of having a number of styles of architecture. You will enjoy European design buildings and East Asia design as well at Thailand!

You can easily get to Bang Pa-in by joining a tour which is combined with Ayutthaya city tour. However, you will get the totally different impression from those two destinations.

Like other Palace in Bangkok, recommend you to be dressed up politely with long sleeve shirts and pants, which you don't expose your shoulder or knee. The best way to look around the Bang Pa-in, which has 39 different styled buildings, is renting a cart for 4 people max near the entrance. You will need your passport or driver license for cart.
