Dongmyo park or Dongmyo shrine was built in 1599 to honor Guan Yu, a Chinese military commander from the 3rd century. The spirit of Guan Yu is said to have appeared and helped the Koreans defeat the Japanese during the Imjin War.
You can see a wooden image of Guan Yu enshrined inside the main shrine with statues of his four retainers. It's designated Treasure #142.
You can also enjoy all kinds of antique things to buy or look around at the flea market nearby.
