The facts

The United States’ largest Chinese fast food chain Panda Express recently opened up its first location here in Seoul. Located in the food court of the Lotte Department Store in Myeong-dong, it’s in the perfect spot to make it accessible from anywhere in the city.

The menu consists of many favourite western styled Chinese dishes such as orange chicken, Beijing beef, and Kung Pao chicken. For many, who may not enjoy the flavours of Koreanized Chinese food, it is a real welcome addition to the local foreign food landscape.
The fact that you can choose to eat in or take away, just makes it even better.

I hadn't been to a Panda Express before, but I supposed it would be somehow like a western style fast chinese food, and I think I was kind of right. For 7,000 won I can eat some "comfort" Chinese food.
I think in terms of taste though, it is not good enough. It tastes similar to Chinese buffets in my hometown, and I used to hate those. I guess I give it a 3 star (acceptable) because it's in korea, and I still like it much better than the Koreanized chinese food!

Awesome cheap Americanized Chinese food. Fast food style but it has all those dishes you know and love like orange chicken, kung pao, and bejing beef. Each set comes with fried rice or noodles, making it the perfect taste of home. To read more see http://afatgirlsfoodguide.com/2014/09/27/panda-express/
