The facts

Gwanghwamun Square is considered one of the landmarks of Seoul. It's located in the the center of downtown.

The far stretched landmark plaza where statues of King Sejong and Admiral Lee Sun Shin lie, who are considered the greatest people in Korea's history. Gwanghwamun Square was established in 2009.
It is especially beautiful in the Spring and Fall with a fountain show held as well.

There is also a "Waterway of history" that is stretched throughout the long plaza. It also acts as a pedestrian way that connects Cheong gye cheon stream and Gwanghwamun Gate (The main gate of Gyeongbokgung palace).

Sometimes many different kinds of performances take place here and the night view and landscape are a must-see in Seoul.
