The facts

The Dongbaek Island at down south in Haeundae has turned into a great park. There are thousands of camellia and pine tree and it's connected to Haeundae beach.

There are many islands named Dongbaek Island (동백섬) in the South Sea where dongbaek (camellia) trees thrive. Among them, the Dongbaek Island in Busan used to be an island, now is a part of the mainland.
And as long as the Dongbaek Island is right next to the Haeundae Beach so it will be very easy to visit Dongbaek Island on your way to the beach!
There are a few of things you have to visit near the Dongbaek Park.
1. Nurimaru APEC House
At the Dongbaek Park, there is a Nurimaru APEC House (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.2005) that attract lots of tourists everyday.
2. Marine City
They built a whole new town by reclaiming the land from the sea and made it into a very hot popular place these days. If you want to get a great night view of Busan, go to the Dongbaek Park and look towards the Marine City which has an amazing skyline with the skyscrapers. People call it 'Little Hong Kong' and you can notice from afar how busy and fancy the place is.

Have your own tour near Heaundae Beach and nice dinner around there. After that, take a walk to the Dongbeak Park to digest a little during watching amazing night view from it. And for the last, go to 'The Bay 101' (near the entrance of Dongbeak Island) and enjoy a bottle of beer with the fish & chips! Your day will be made just like that!
