Horse-riding is a widely representative activity in Jeju Island. Long time ago, Jeju was under the rule of Mongolia. Mongolians were horse-riding people so when Jeju was governed by Mongolia, they brought many horses. That's why there are many horses in Jeju.
In Seong Eup Land, you can ride a horse. Seong Eup Land has been operating for 30 years so it’s widely known in Jeju. Seong Eup Land is well equipped with amenities like a shower stall, a waiting room and a place for babies so it’s a decent place for families and convenient to enjoy horse-riding. Children have to be at least 4 years old or older in order to ride horses. During the horse ride, you can see the beautiful view of Jeju’s natural scenery. And because of the beautiful views, many Korean dramas were shot at Seong Eup Land.
There are two more activities offered here: go-kart and ATV. It's a good chance to try more activities. The speed of the go-kart is 120km so you will be able to feel the exhilaration and thrills. A child has to be over 13 years old and 150 cm height, but it’s allowed to ride with an accompany of an adult. In case of the ATV, the age limitation is 17 years old, but with the company of an adult, it’s allowed. You can ride the go-kart regardless of the weather condition because they provide an outer, a rain coat, goggles and a mask.
Seong Eup Land's program is really safe because they always provide a safety education. And Seong Eup Land provides a free equipment rental service. Also Seongeup Land is 30 square meters so it’s bigger than the other horse-riding places.
