Anthractie Coffee is a cafe converted from an old shoe factory dating back to 1910. It is a cafe that lost its function as a factory and was transformed into something special and beautiful. Café Anthracite is both a Cafe and Coffee Roasting Factory.
You can enjoy tasty a variety of hand drip coffee(Indonesia Mandheling, Honduras,Colombia, Kenya,Costa Rica, etc…)
The café promotes green business by thinking about space regeneration, self-sufficiency and recycling.
They promote healthy planning along with an open art management philosophy, culture and a variety of community programs.
Occasionally exhibitions and movie screenings, events are held.

Anthracite Coffee is located in an old abandoned factory away from the busier part of Sangsu. The inside has been modified from its industrial past to a place where customers can enjoy coffee. Though not a coffee drinker, all the coffee is hand dripped. I had the blueberry rooibos tea served in a glass flask normally seen at labs. The place gets quite busy so try to go a little earlier as it gets full of old ladies who spend 4 hours with one coffee.
