Oedolgae, or Lonely Rock, is a basalt formation that juts 20 meters up into the air from the sea. A few different stories bring tourists to this spot and signs nearby explain the popularity of the area. Not only are the legends popular reasons to find this spot, but it is also a great view of the rocky cliffs lining Jeju.
