The facts
The COEX Aquarium is spread out over a large area and showcases around 40,000 sea creatures, which come from 600 different species. The aquarium is unique in Korea because it has been designed around the theme of “Water Journey”.
On entering the museum, visitors will embark on an adventure that follows water on its journey from the high Andean mountains, through the Amazon tropical rainforest to swamps, rivers, seashores, and finally to the depths of the ocean. Visitors will get an in-depth look into some of the world’s fascinating underwater creatures. It's a must-visit place for all aquarium lovers.

This is a place I would strongly recommend if you have kids, enjoy looking at animals, or have an afternoon to while away. Be warned though, tickets are quite pricey at 28,000 won for adults, so if you’re not keen on looking at exhibits and animals then I would advise you to give this a miss.

Really nice place! Can enjoy a variety kinds of fishes. I love here's atmosphere. kinda mystery? lol I went there with my friend and we got so many good pics due to this mystic backgrounds. This was also background of the drama 'I Hear Your Voice' which is played by Lee Jongsuk and Lee Boyoung.
