Deoksugung palace is small palace located near City Hall station in Seoul, famous for its stone wall road. It was used as a place for the Korean Empire after the Joseon Dynasty and has a dragon decoration and is colored yellow to signify that it belonged to Emperor Gojong.
Unlike other palaces, Deoksugung is open until 9pm, so you can visit at night to explore its beauty. The Changing of the Royal Guard is a popular event that many visitors come to watch.
During special holidays like Chuseok, there are various cultural events being held such as art and music performances. Visitors can also participate in traditional games such as Yutnori, Jaegichagi, and Tuho.
