Main Stadium of Busan Asiad 부산 아시아드 주경기장

Busan is one of the tourist spots many people want to visit. The attractive points of this city are the closeness to the sea and many delicious foods. Also, the city is famous for its passion towards sports.
Actually, many people call Busan as a 'city of baseball' because one of the most popular professional baseball team is located in Busan, which is Lotte Giants. However, it is also true that Busan has the most beautiful looking football(soccer) stadium among any other stadiums in Korea. The stadium is called Main Stadium of Busan Asiad. The initial purpose of building this stadium was for the 2002 Korea&Japan Worldcup.
Considering this purpose, it is understandable that this single stadium can hold over 58,000 people at once.
The stadium is used as a home ground for professional football team named "Busan I Park". They are doing quite well in K-League, the professional football league.
The stadium is located in sports complex, which also includes that of baseball stadium and basketball stadium. Therefore, there is lot more to watch afterwards , and you can also enjoy walking around the sports complex or watch movie at the theater located in the Sports Complex Station.
In addition, subway station called "Dongrae" is only 2 stations away from the stadium and is famous for its "pajeon (green onion pancake)." So, if you're interested, you might take a chance of visiting there as well.
