Loved my class. I brought my own rocket line art but there was a large binder of options too. Art itself was easy enough - if you can shape wire and brush glue on things, you can do this class. More advanced Q&A via papago app but communication also straightforward. Finding the place: go towards subway station 3 exit, but don't go up the escalator to the street, just go in the side door into a hall with luggage lockers. Smood door is located at the end of the hall.

It was an amazing and fun experience. Location is super easy to find and the artist is multi talented and runs so many other activities.

The neon sign class was amazing. The instructor was very nice and gave good hints and instructions. I am happy with the outcome of my neon sign. One heart less, because the room was very hard to find. Please update your route description. Finding the building itself was easy, but finding the room on floor B1 was hard. I needed guidance from a employee of a shop on the same floor to find the room for the neon sign class.

The teacher was very helpful and supportive, and it ended up being a fun class with an equally fun souvenir to take home! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique activity to do in Seoul either alone or with others!

Wir haben uns ein bisschen schwer getan, den Laden zu finden. Man musste neben dem Gebäude eine Treppe hinunter gehen und gleich der erste Laden auf der rechten Seite ist smood. Alternativ gibt es auch noch einen Eingang über die Hongik Univ. Station. Der Workshop hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Man konnte aus vielen verschiedenen Beispiel-Designs wählen oder sein eigenes Design gestalten. Es kann hilfreich sein, sich vor dem Workshop schon Gedanken über das Motiv zu machen. Die Frau, die den Workshop geleitet hat, war sehr freundlich und wir hatten genügend Zeit, fertig zu werden. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder hin gehen.

The staff was super nice and patiently explained all the steps to us, with a lot of encouragement. Such a pleasant experience. We would definitely come back to repeat this class again the next time we’re traveling to Seoul!!!

Was a little hard to find at first but the class was kinda relaxing haha there was only 2 of us. The instructor was also friendly and patient haha. Would recommend!

The instructor was the nicest and most patient person! She was always willing to help, even when we didn’t speak Korean very well. She even stayed past the closing time to help us when we were struggling! We’ll definitely be back.

This was so much fun and was very relaxing. The teacher was lovely and provided clear information before, during and after the workshop. I would highly recommend this workshop if you are in Seoul- it is a very different change of pace from the Hongdae area and you get a really unique souvenir at the end of it

It was a lovely and fruitful experience, especially for the kids. The lady teaching us was very friendly and helpful - we were able to communicate in English just fine ☺️ In addition, it was a fun session to do indoor, away from the chilling temperature outside 🥶. Totally did not regret taking up this package. Highly recommend this activity. A big thank you to SMOO:D! Note though that we had difficulty finding the Hongdae place (and partially my fault as well as I didn't read the email properly). For future participants, there is a door on the left to a locker area just before going up to outside of Exit 3. Just go through the door and walk all the way in to reach the studio (2nd picture) 😉

Taking the lesson to make neon signs was like entering a dazzling imaginative realm. There was a thrilling sense of artistic exploration into the neon realm with each session, as we bent tubes and created colorful designs. A difficult craft became an approachable art form as the instructor's knowledge shone through each step. This is more than just a workshop; it's an exciting journey filled with neon lights where your creativity soars and you'll take home a brilliant masterpiece. Let your neon lights shine, everyone!

I highly recommend this workshop, seeing as I had sooo much fun! After being shown to my spot, I got to choose a design which I was going to make. There's a big map and there is plenty of choice and lots of cute options. Still, I had set my mind on a design I found online, which wasn't a problem! After short and clear explanations, I got to work! The girl helping spoke good English and was there whenever you needed help. It can be quite finicky work, but it's not too hard once you get the gist of it. Location is not too hard to find and very close the Hongik Uni station, which considering the bad weather, was ideal! Very relaxing and fun work!

Although I was late I was welcomed with a smile.The explanation was easy to understand and with some help I was able to make my own design. Really pleased with the result. I very much liked the created atmoshere with the easy listening music and the light not too bright. Hats off to the very patient young woman for the way she conducted the whole event. Only thing that I did not properly realize was that when the wire is cut you cannot make something else. Overall a very pleasant experience and good value for money.

Thanks to studio and our lady master for support, assistance and creative guidance. It was cool experience, definetly would love to repeat it again when I come back to Seoul.

This was such a fun class! Highly recommended. It makes for a great souvenir. The teacher was also super nice and helpful, and very patient! When she saw that I was making a Love Yourself logo, she changed the background music to BTS albums. ;D I wish I had more time to come back and make more signs for my friends. Definitely coming back again on the next visit!

This was a really fun and calm activity. You can spend there an hour away from the busy and stressful city and create something beautiful to remember your trip. The teacher was also so nice and friendly <3 The only problem we had was to find the right room after you leave the elevator. There was no sign and many corredors to get lost (xD) but we asked the guy at the entrance and he helped us :) I would really recommend this for everyone. We are not talented in crafting but the teacher was amazing and helped us.

It was great! Ever since I found out about this class, I had been envisioning a neon sign of the N Seoul Tower which is so iconic of this city for me. It was very challenging and didn’t turn out quite as good as I had imagined, but still, I am ever so happy with the result, and it now stands proudly on my desk. I want to go back again on my next visit and try to make a sign of the Yanghwa Bridge!!! Thanks for being patient with me and helping me out step by step. I’ll be back for sure!

It was so much fun! You have multiple designs and colors to choose from and the staff was super kind and helpful. I can definitely recommend it. If you want to do something special, this is a great activity. I honestly loved it.

(Hongdae Location) The staff were incredibly kind and patient considering our group of 5 barely spoke any Korean between us (we communicated with them through Papago on our phones). They looked after us and demonstrated clearly what to do, and were kind enough to give us free spare batteries and a free plastic display stand afterwards. I cannot recommend this enough - it doesn't matter how skilled you are, it's a fun experience regardless!

Such a cool and relaxing experience! Perfect for rainy days, days/evenings to destress, or just a fun date night with your partner or friends. I purposely chose the latest booking of the day to make sure I didn't miss out on any daytime activities outdoors and it worked out perfectly. I appreciated the instructor who helped me along throughout the process and gave me tips while I worked on many tricky spots in my choice of design. The Hongik location was perfect, location-wise, and the space itself was nice and cozy. I would definitely be recommending this activity to all my friends who are visiting in the future. I, for sure, would comeback again and challenge myself to an even harder design. Thank you to the team at SMOO:D!

Thankfully, we understood enough Korean to get by and the activity itself does not require that much Korean knowledge t do as it is fairly straight-forward. But just letting those out there who have no knowledge of Korean, the activity might be a bit confusing at first but you'll get the hang of it. :)

Lots of fun! I'm not usually very gifted at any arts and crafts, but this activity was so much fun & I ended up with a beautiful piece of decoration :)

Wonderful. The staff were so fun and very helpful. Only coming when needed but being available. We created a lovely Neon sign that looks so cool and professional. Creative, chill crafternoon.
