A very enjoyable experience! This workshop is likely to take you longer than an hour. You create your own design and make the item from scratch, which I was very happy about! If time permits, I'd recommend lightly sanding between layers of lacquer to avoid ridge marks. Thank you!

The experience was great. The gentleman that runs the workshop speaks minimal English, but he was able to demonstrate what we needed to do. Does require a lot of dexterity (using tweezers) and my very crafty 9 year old was having some difficulty. Tons of choices and our mirrors turned out great.

So relaxing and such a special souvenir! 💗🌸 The staff were so kind and patient despite me taking forever to finish my design because I’m such a perfectionist 🤭

I highly recommend this activity. My husband, 12y/o and 9y/o and I each worked on a piece, and even my reluctant husband enjoyed the process. The staff was so helpful, and the main artist came by to help out and watch our progress as well. We left with beautiful pieces and a wonderful cultural experience.
