▲ Arirang (Korean Folk Song) A representative Korean folk song embodying the emotions of Han and Heung. With countless regional variations, Arirang is not a single song but a shared cultural expression passed down through generations. Recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2012.
▲ Gayageum Solo (Chimhyangmu) A solo gayageum performance inspired by the sacred scent of agarwood, once prized in ancient India. The piece evokes a vision of a Silla dancer offering incense before Buddha, symbolizing the kingdom's rich Buddhist culture and connections along the Silk Road. Silla is also known as the region where the gayageum was first developed.
▲ Jakbeop (Buddhist Ritual Dance) A sacred dance performed during Buddhist ceremonies, especially in Yeonganjae, a key ritual. Dancers express devotion through movements like Beopgochum, Barachum, Nabichum, and Tajuchum. Listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009.
