Place was really hard to find even for Lokals.
Nice Lady, very helpful and funny but hardly any communication possible because she did not speak english, it was rather hands and feet. Not too happy with the result recommand it for Kids not adults.

This was a great experience. The woman who ran our workshop was incredibly patient and helped my kids with their lanterns. Language barrier wasn't a problem, and the art she has on display in her workshop is gorgeous!

It was super fun even though I'm super bad with crafts. Teachers were super nice and so talented. They made it look so easy to do, just shows how much talent and how many years they have been doing this 👏

Absolutely loved this activity. My friend and I were the only ones in the room, and it was so relaxing. The lady working there was helpful and sweet. I made the elegant lamp which took about 4 hours, and the lady was so patient and eager to help me at any point. I'm not the best when it comes to art, but the lamp turned out beautifully. Def recommend this activity!

It was an enjoyable experience. Not easy to deal with glue, paper, ideas, creativity and precision at times, but under the guidance of the friendly and patient Teacher, the task was made easier :) The studio displayed amazing works of art too!

Wow! If I lived in Korea I would totally live at this art studio. So many fun things to do and learn I could stay there a month and never learn everything. The Hanji paper lamp was amazing! Korean Hogee paper is so versatile and you can do so many creative things with it. I chose to make the flower lamp. It was so much fun making my own mini lamp. The instructor is very kind, helpful and professional. The most fun part is that you can make any shape with Hanji and decorate the lamp with your preferred colors which makes it so unique. Highly recommended!

How to get to Insadong Hanji Chueok by public transportation?
Get off at Jonggak station (Line 1) and take Exit 3. Go straight about 150m and turn left when you see Kumkang shoe store building on your left. Go straight about 200m until you see Insadong 7-gil street. Turn left onto Insadong 7-gil street and you will find Hanji Chueok on your right. It is located on the 3rd floor of the building. There is a dumpling store on the opposite side.
