FAQ

How do I exchange my ticket for rental gear and a lift pass?

Please present your smartphone screen (showing the lift and rental ticket details) at GALA Yuzawa Information / Ticket Counter and receive your tickets. For the rental pacakge, please show your rental tickets at the Ski Center to collect your rental items.

What transportation options are available to the resort?

Take the Joetsu Shinkansen line from Tokyo to GALA Yuzawa Station. The station ticket gate is directly connected to the ski center.
If you are coming from Echigo Yuzawa Station (which is located before GALA Yuzawa Station), you can take a free shuttle bus to the resort.

What happens if public transportation is suspended due to bad weather?

In case of suspension, cancellation or changes will follow the policy stated at the time of booking. Please check the transportation company's announcements for the latest updates.

What happens if the ski resort is closed due to a lack of snow?

The resort will typically make the decision at least two days before your booking date. If closure is confirmed, you will be notified, and your booking will be canceled in accordance with the policy.

Are lessons included in this package?

No, this package is for lift passes and rental equipment only. If you want lessons, please book a lesson package separately.

How do I receive my lift pass and rental items?

You will receive a voucher after booking. On the day of your visit, present the voucher at the designated counter to pick up your lift pass and rental items.

Can children use this package?

Yes, children are welcome. However, the same price applies for both adults and children.

Do I need to bring anything?

Please bring your own gloves, goggles, and hats, or rent them at the resort for an additional fee. We also recommend bringing warm inner layers and thick socks.
