How do I exchange my ticket for rental gear and the one-day lift?
Present the confirmation screen (showing lift and rental ticket details) at the rental shop. → Receive rental equipment and a lift voucher at the rental shop. → Bring the lift voucher to the lift ticket counter to obtain the actual lift ticket.

How can I get there by public transportation?
Take the Joetsu Shinkansen to Echigo Yuzawa Station (approx. 69 minutes) from Tokyo → Head to the East Exit and hop on the free shuttle bus to Resort Center 1 (approx. 20 minutes). *Iwappara Ski Resort features two resort centers. Resort Center 1 is conveniently located at the foot of the mountain.
What happens if public transportation is suspended due to bad weather?
This generally depends on the cancellation policy.
What happens if the ski resort is closed due to a lack of snow?
As a rule, the decision will be made at least two days before departure. If the trip is canceled, we will notify you in advance.
