If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature filled day trip outside of Bangkok, this is for you. My friend and I had a lovely time forest and waterfall bathing at Erawan waterfall. There seemed to be a good mix of both locals and tourists. Though it’s a couple of hours outside of Bangkok, our driver and companion Mr. Songkram made sure we were comfortable and provided water. He was very friendly and kind and ensured we enjoyed our journey. We also ate traditional Thai meals of our choosing upon arriving at the falls.
Bring aqua shoes and sunscreen and water! Be cautious of the fish in the water—they’re the type to nip at your feet and bite off your dead skin cells.
