I went on this tour with my partner on a very rainy day. The first stop was Daedunsan. First, we took a cable car for around 5 minutes and were immediately met with beautiful scenery. The rain was very intense and so was the wind, so it felt like an adventure when we walked on the red suspension bridge! The view is breathtaking, and I absolutely recommend anyone visiting Korea not to limit themselves to only Seoul but also to give less-known places like this a try. Some might see the rain as a negative aspect of the tour, but for me, it made the trip very romantic and I enjoyed every second of it! Just make sure to check the weather in the morning and dress accordingly. I recommend wearing comfortable clothes, hiking shoes, and rainproof clothes if there’s any chance of rain.
The second stop of the tour was supposed to be the Wanju Wild and Food Festival. However, as can happen with any outdoor event, due to the very heavy rain it had to be cancelled.
Regardless, on the way home I was in a very good mood because of this fun day. I’d love to come back again next year and, if we have more luck with the weather, also attend the Wanju Wild & Food Festival.
The tour guide, Alvin, had such natural, effortless friendliness. I could learn a thing or two from his social skills hahah. He is an absolute pleasure, and I’d love to have him as a tour guide again.
