This large Buddhist temple in the heart of Chiang Mai is one of the city's most famous locations. The enormous crumbling chedi built in 1441 is surrounded by striking elephant and serpent statues.
▲ Wat Phra Singh
This 700-year-old religious site is often described as the most beautiful in the city. Inside you'll find an enormous 'Lion Buddha' as well as glided pagodas, murals, and statues.
▲ Wat Suan Dok
Countless white stupas and a backdrop of Doi Suthep mountain make this one of the city's most attractive temples. It's thought that a tooth from the Buddha himself is enclosed at the temple's heart.

We'll finish the tour at Chiang Mai's oldest temple dating back to 1296. This gleaming gold chedi is seriously impressive, but you'll also love the atmospheric flower garden which doubles as a fantastic photo spot.
