Highly recommend this tour. We were about 9 inside the van and it was very comfortable. Mr. Sun Ho was a great driver/guide and he made sure were all okay. Time alloted for each stop was alright. Naejangsan was very beautiful although we were not able to see it at its peak. Doing the cable car will take up at least an hour and a half because of the lines so decide beforehand if you will ride it up. Jeonju on the other hand was quite interesting - it has food and the sights are spectacular. Really had fun and met some nice people as well. Will come back next time. :)

It's really fun and David is so charming. Trafic is quite bad..but nontheless, Naejangsan' scenary is amazing. Jeonju was so much fun.. we managed to eat Jeonju's style bibimbap. Amazingly cooked by the marvelous chef.

I traveled to Korea in spring and autumn every year until the pandemic hit. A great feeling to be able to come again as Korea lift its covid restrictions. Had been with Trazy for many years as the service was great. Naejangsan is a main attraction and the tourists have returned in large numbers. The foliage is quite good this year, although it peaks a bit too early. Some leaves have started to die. I prefer a good mix of green, yellow and red. Hard to predict the weather though. I had been to Jeon-ju Hanok Village in previous years and again it was good to return after the past few terrible years of covid.

Naejangsan Park Se were picked up by a van, we were eight in the group. Rei was an attentive tour guide and very informative. The drive was long heading south but we made one stop aling the way as a restroom break. The parking lot was a 20-minute walk to the actual entrance. But there were already vividly colored trees along the way. We took a shuttle bus (payment included in the tour) up which ended near the entrance of the temple. The trees were a sight to see. No amount of photos taken can capture the beauty of autumn foliage! We were given almost 4 hours to take photos at the temple and down the mountain. The shots were truly picturesque! There were streetfoods at the base and I ordered two sticks of fish cake. We then proceeded to Jeonju Hanok Village and it was a delight to see the museum housing the painting of the first king of the joseon dynasty (the place was his home town). We also ate Jeolla-do style bibimbap (₩10,000) at own expense. It was fun seeing the stuff I only see on tv of Jeonju scenes. We were given 2 hours to roam around. The travel back to Seoul took 2.5hrs. The breath taking scenery and culture-richness of these places were worth the trip!

Naejangsan Park Se were picked up by a van, we were eight in the group. Rei was an attentive tour guide and very informative. The drive was long heading south but we made one stop aling the way as a restroom break. The parking lot was a 20-minute walk to the actual entrance. This trip is like hitting two birds with one stone! I'll definitely recommend this one for Autumn. Just make sure your travel date coincides to the peak foliage. I came 2 days early of the forecast and the leaves are 50% green and the other half are yellow, orange and red. Still worth it! Our tour guide Rei is considerate and jolly person. He even brought us to a Bibimbap restaurant were 2 Days 1 Night cast members Defcon and Jongmin had lunch. Jeonju Hanok Village is like a traditional with a modern twist. Tried the famous Jeonju bibimbap and choco pie.

When we were there, the autumn foliage wasn’t at its peak but we had a good time walking around the park. It’s not a big place, more of a leisurely stroll. We enjoyed Jeonju very much, esp if you like to eat. Loads of food options. Rei, our guide was helpful and cute. You don’t feel rushed, lots of time at both places. Overall, good tour!

Overview

Surround yourself with colorful fall scenery in Naejangsan or Seoraksan Mountain!

Choose between two breathtaking mountains to explore this fall! Each tour takes you to a beautiful national park and another equally amazing spot nearby that is not to be missed while you're in the area.

Route 1. Seoraksan Mountain & Sokcho Beach

▲ Seoraksan Mountain
Seoraksan Mountain was named Seorak (‘Seol’ meaning ‘snow’ and ‘Ak’ meaning ‘big mountain’) because the snow would not melt for a long time, keeping the rocks in a permanent state of white. This UNESCO-designated biosphere reserve has many unique rock formations and waterfalls as well as numerous hiking trails.

▲ Sokcho Beach
A tranquil beach located naerby Seoraksan Mountain, Sokcho Beach stretches over 1.8 kilometers and features fine golden sand and pristine blue waters, making it an ideal spot for unwinding after your hike.

Route 2. Naejangsan Mountain & Jeonju Hanok Village

▲ Naejangsan Mountain
Naejangsan Mountain in Jeongeup is another mountain famous for its gorgeous scenery and is often dubbed the best mountain to view the autumn crimson leaves. The park is 76,032 sq. km. in size and was designated a National Park on November 17, 1971.

▲ Jeonju Hanok Village
Jeonju Hanok Village is the biggest hanok village in Korea with over 800 traditional hanok houses. The village is especially beautiful for its unique roof edges which are slightly raised to the sky. Jeonju is also famous for its incredible cuisine, so don't forget to try some of the traditional food such as bibimbap, dduck galbi, and noodles as well as various delicious snacks such as Choco Pie.
