Named after the elephant from Hindu mythology, the Erawan Museum in Samut Prakan is home to a large number of priceless antiques, pieces of art and religious objects all part of the Thai heritage for future generations. A giant three-headed statue of the elephant is the first and last thing you will see when paying a visit here.
The inside of the museum is modeled after the Hindu representation of the universe, with the underworld on the 1st floor, earth on the 2nd floor, and heaven on the top floor. Explore all of the floors and also take a stroll around the tropical garden outside that has lots of plants and palm trees.
