Cafe Coin is one of the oldest and the most popular cafes in Myeongdong. Cafe Coin opened 17 years ago and expanded to other popular areas including Samcheongdong, Sinsa and Ewha Women's university.
Located in the center of shopping area in Seoul, it offers cozy and comfortable space to relax your legs for a while in the middle of shopping. Inside the cafe are antique furniture and beautiful real paintings from Japan, France and UK.
Cafe Coin serves about 80 kinds of drinks, cakes and side menus. The most popular ones are about 10 different drip coffees. It also offers about 10 kinds of Korean traditional teas. To serve fresh and high quality teas, they themselves grow the tea plants and trees in the rural area.
You can also taste various black teas, herbal teas and fruit smoothies. It offers different kinds of special fruit smoothies including peach smoothies and raspberry smoothies depending on the weather.
Another popular menu is Green tea Bingsu (Ice flakes). Cafe Coin serves home made Green Tea ice cream which makes it special from other regular bingsu. The process to make its own green tea ice cream has been introduced in both Korean and Japanese TV. Its Green tea bignsu is one of the 3 most delicious bingsus in Seoul.
Customers can also enjoy free ice cream (in the summer) or hot tea (in the winter).

It is the best cafe in Myeongdong. It has comfortable atmosphere and luxury interiors with antique furniture. The quite big tables and cozy chairs also make it differentiated from other franchise coffee shops.
