The bus ride was long but rather comfortable. It was about 6 hours ride to and fro with toilet breaks. The event was superb. Admission is free but it cost to walk on the bridges. It is a very massive display of lanterns and floats. It requires lots of walking so make sure you have comfortable shoes on. The Trazy staff was friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend the Jinju Lantern Festival! It is quite big and really really beautiful. Since the traffic was supposed to be heavier, the pick-up time got changed two times. Thanks to that we ended up arriving in Jinju quite early, leaving us with lots of time to browse around and try out all sort of experiences (You could draw postcards and have them sent home for free, or dress up in Hanboks against a small fee as well). The lanterns itself were really beautiful and on the Namgang it was quite a view. Same as the bridges being decorated with lots of lights. You can buy tasty food and snacks everywhere and there are some musical performances as well. Like the previous reviews say, you have quite a lot of time there. Against 10:30 PM I remember that we had seen everything (we did arrive extra early though, since the traffic wasn't as heavy as expected! So we had around 8 hours instead of the originally planned 6) and it was quite cold. I suggest to definitely bring an extra jacket or scarf for the later hours :)! Our tour guide Harry was also really great! He is a fun person to be with and very cheerful and active personality! I think you will enjoy traveling with him!

Overall This trip is satisfied except the transport arrangements. I am very disappointing the transport arrangements. The chair which has provided us is horrible ( Pic). I am still not able to recover back pain. Sitting that chair without headrest for 8 hrs. The Guide is very friendly and very helpful.

It was quite a far journey to get to Jinju Namgang but it was absolutely worth it to go. Trazy made the experience convenient and so comfortable to get there and back. The lights, the lanterns, the scenery, and the experience was beautiful. granted the place was packed but it didn't deter me from enjoying the Yudeung Festival.
