Balwangsan Cable Car is one of Korea's longest and most scenic cable car rides, stretching over 7.4 km and ascending up to around 1,458 meters above sea level. Some scenes from the K-drama "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" (also known as "Goblin") featuring Gong Yoo and Kim Go-eun were filmed here, making it a popular pilgrimage spot for fans.

This panoramic observation deck is located at the summit of Balwangsan Mountain, reachable by the Balwangsan Cable Car. The skywalk extends outward from the mountain and features a section with a glass floor. For those brave enough, you can walk onto the glass, take in the thrilling views below, and snap some memorable photos.

One cable car accommodates up to 8 people.
You must use the round-trip tickets on the same day.
The skywalk may be closed in harsh weather conditions. Please note that a refund cannot be issued if you have used the cable car, even if you have not used the skywalk.

Winter season: Every day 9:00am~5:00pm (last car down: 4:00pm)

*The skywalk opens 1 hour after the cable car starts operation.

What does the ticket include?

Round-trip access on the Balwangsan Cable Car and entry to the Skywalk at the summit—no extra fee for the glass-floor platform.

How long is the cable car ride and how far does it go?

The cable car travels a spectacular 7.4 km (the longest in South Korea), covering 1,458 m elevation in about 18–20 minutes one-way.

What happens in bad weather?

Operations are suspended during high winds or storms. In such cases, refunds or reschedules are offered. However, if the car runs and you skip the Skywalk, the ticket is still valid.
