▶MVNO Sim Card with Activation via Messenger

This MVNO SIM card requires activation via Messenger after you pick up the SIM card at the designated location. Activation is available during the operating hours of the MVNO company, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
To activate the SIM card, you need to provide your passport information in accordance with the Korean Telecommunication Law.

After you pick up a SIM card, please contact the SIM card company's customer service to activate the SIM card. SIM card activation is available from Monday to Saturday between 11:00am and 7:00pm. If you pick up a SIM card on Sunday, you can only activate the SIM card on Monday after 11:00am.
If you find out that your SIM card doesn’t work properly, please visit the Sinchon branch and get help from the staff.

Checklist for booking

Make sure to book with the exact full name on your passport.
Please make sure to unlock your smartphone through your cellphone carrier before coming to Korea, especially if you are from the United States, Canada, or Japan. If your smartphone is locked, you CANNOT use this SIM card.
If you are Korean, you can get a SIM card from the Sinchon Branch only. Click here to make a reservation at the Sinchon Branch. Please also note that Korean nationals cannot activate the SIM card with a passport. Does this SIM come with a Korean local 010 phone number?

Yes, a Korean phone number starting with 010 will be issued for all SIM card options.

Can I extend the SIM card for a long period?

SIM card extension is only available for 90-day and 120-day plan users. To extend your SIM card validity beyond 90 days, you must have a valid Residence Card (Alien Registration Card, ARC) and register the SIM card with your ARC. To do so, please contact the customer center via the contact details provided in the manual BEFORE your SIM card expires. If you do not extend your SIM card within 3 days of its expiry, it will be automatically terminated.

Would this SIM stop working if I depart Korea?

According to the Korean law for major telecom companies, regardless of your plan, the SIM card will be terminated once you leave Korea. If you have an ARC and intend to travel outside of Korea, please consult with the SIM card company via the contact details provided in the manual.

What if the SIM doesn't work on my phone?

The universal type SIM card is compatible with phones using standard, micro, and nano SIM cards. Check with your phone carrier to make sure the SIM card is compatible with your device.

Please try the SIM card before you leave the pick-up location. The staff on site can assist you with installation and troubleshooting any issues.
