Moontan Road, a play on words sun tan, is a trail in the woods along the coastal line where visitors can enjoy the full glow of the moonlight as they walk at night. It gets quite romantic with the lunar illumination and the scent of pine trees diffused in the air.
It's about 3.1km course which takes about 1 hour walk in total. The lights of the Moontan Road light up from sunset to 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. till sun rise.
As you walk along the trail surrounded by soil and pine tree under the moonlight, feeling the pine scent and sounds of wave, you will soon get away with the hustle of the city life. Also try take a deep breath while sitting down at the “Sea Observatory” bench. The heat will be miles away.
