The facts

Chuam Sculpture Park is a seaside park near Chuam Beach in Donghae, where art and nature come together. With open-air sculptures set along the coast, it's a relaxing place to take a walk, enjoy ocean views, and explore creative works by Korean artists.

It’s right next to Chotdaebawi Rock, a famous sunrise spot, so it’s perfect for a morning stroll after watching the sun come up. You’ll find pieces like Hope, Light and Human, and Seagull’s Dream, offering a close look at contemporary Korean sculpture in a peaceful setting.

I came across Chuam Sculpture Park while visiting Chuam Beach, and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the trip. The park is right by the coast, and it features a series of unique sculptures spread out along a seaside walking path. The combination of the art, ocean breeze, and coastal views makes it a really relaxing place to explore.
