The facts

Gamchu Beach features a short stretch of sandy shore and clear waters, with rocky areas on both ends. The beach is relatively quiet and less crowded than other major beaches in the region.

It is located next to Gamchusa Temple, a seaside Buddhist temple, which adds a special atmosphere where nature and culture come together. The coastal walking path connects the beach and the temple, making it easy to enjoy both in a single visit.

Basic facilities such as restrooms and parking are available near the beach. The beach is open year-round and free to access, making it an easy and relaxing stop any time of the year.

Gamchu Beach surprised me with its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. It's less crowded than some of the more famous beaches, so it felt like a private escape. The water was clear and refreshing, and the sand was soft underfoot. Walking along the shore, I loved spotting interesting rock formations and enjoying the sound of the waves.
