The facts

The Grand Canyon of Chiang Mai is a man-made quarry that has been turned into a beautiful swimming hole with cliff jumping, sunbathing, a restaurant, and bamboo rafts for relaxing in the waters.

The water is approximately 100 feet deep and is perfect for cliff jumping! They have a designated spot for jumping which allows you to get a running start and fly 30+ feet down into the crystal waters below. That was definitely our favorite part of the Grand Canyon of Chiang Mai.

The Grand Canyon of Chiang Mai was sooo much fun! It's only about 25 minutes from Downtown and we were able to drive our moped there with no problems.

We spent the afternoon sunbathing, drinking raw coconut, and cliff jumping. The cliff jumping was absolutely amazing, and while it was terrifying in the moment, was absolutely worth it for the memories.
