The facts

Away from all the beaches in Samui Island, Na Muang Waterfalls are located inland, approximately 12 kilometers southeast of Nathon Bay. Also known as “purple waterfalls” due to shades of purple reflected on the rocks, Na Muang waterfalls are divided into 2 major cascades, creating gorgeous natural pools.

Na Muang 1, the lower cascade, is about 18 meters tall. The waterfall creates a marvelous emerald pool. As a perfect place to escape from the sun, Na Muang 1 makes a charming place to relax and enjoy swimming. On a slightly more challenging walk, you will arrive at Na Muang 2 with the grand height of 80 meters. The majestic and powerful streams of water falls down to form another gorgeous pool. Na Muang 2 is surrounded by rich, green forest, giving it a more serene atmosphere.

Between the two waterfalls is found the Na Muang Safari Park with bizarre wildlife and natural scenery! Therefore, a visit to Na Muang Waterfalls is a must when coming to Samui Island! It is perfect place for swimming, hiking, picnicking, and exploring!
