Mapo Naru House serves a variety of Korean food with several kinds of Makgeolli from different regions at reasonable prices.
The most popular menus in this restaurant are Naengmyeon (Cold noodles) and Dakbokkeum (spicy braised chicken). Dakbokkeum and other Jjigae (Korean stew)/Jeongol (Korean casserole or stew) menus are especially great to have with Makgeolli(Korean rive wine).
Mapo Naru House provides 4 different kinds of Makgeolli including Lotus leaf makgeolli and Purple sweet potato makgeolli.
The interiors of Mapo Naru House are uniquely antique. It used old style papers and print ads from more than 30 years ago to provoke nostalgia.
It opens until 7am from Tuesday to Saturday, so many people hanging out late in the Hongdae area love to come to the restaurant after partying or clubbing.

Very casual atmosphere. It serves tasty food at quite cheap prices(compared to other popular restaurants). I had the KKomak(clam) bibimbap and it was very delicious. If you are not comfortable with sitting on the floor, stay on the first floor.
