Ulsanbawi Rock is located in the north of Seoraksan National Park, about 780 meters above the sea level. It is one of the most famous spots in Seoraksan National Park.
To go to Ulsanbawi Rock, visitors can start hiking from Sogongwon area, near Sorak Cable Car Platform. From Shinheungsa Temple to Heundeulbawi Rock is not too difficult, but it is well-known that from Heundeulbawi Rock to Ulsanbawi Rock is quite hard as the trail is very steep with many stairs. But the views from Ulsanbawi Rock is truly amazing if you can make it.
