Blue Lagoon Kiteboarding School, located in the Southern part of Jomtien Beach, south from downtown Pattaya, is where thrill-seeking outdoor adventurists can come strap themselves to a massive inflatable kite and ride the beautiful emerald waves.
Kiteboarding, or also known as kitesurfing, is a must try outdoor activity that combines all of surfing, paragliding, wakeboarding and windsurfing. Riders can catch and pick up the air with their kites and experience kiteboarding at high speeds.
The city name, Pattaya, literally means “winds blowing from the Southwest.” All year long, riders can always catch the so-called “power zones” or areas of strong winds and experience extreme kiteboarding.
Surfers will learn how to safely set up the kite and ride the waves from International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) and Kite Safe Association (KSA) qualified instructors.
Experienced instructors offer lessons for riders of all levels, so complete beginners, don’t be afraid and go challenge yourself to a once in a lifetime extreme experience. Beginners will learn how to steer their kites on land using trainer lines before heading out to sea.
Not only does Blue Lagoon offer lessons, experienced kiteboarders can rent equipment from the school and ride the waves at their own convenience. The school also has an equipment store where riders can purchase equipment and souvenirs.
