The facts

Located in Jeolla-do province, Naejangsan National Park is the 8th designated national park in Korea with its peak averaging about 700 meters. Open all year round, it is one of the five representative mountains on Honam as well as one of the eight most beautiful places in Korea.

The name comes from the many wonders hidden within the area, with 'nae' meaning inside and 'jang' meaning concealed. There are 919 different plant species and 1880 animal species including 12 endangered species such as the small-eared cat and yellow-necked marten.

Famous waterfalls such as Dodeok Falls and Geumseon Falls are in the park, along with temples such as Baekyangsa and Naejangsa. The park is beautiful all year round, with different kinds of wildflowers constantly blooming.
