Dokdo Museum, located in Ulleung County, is the a territorial museum in South Korea, which was built in 1995 in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Korea.
Consisted of 3 exhibition halls, the museum displays various collections and donations related to Dokdo Island, or Liancourt Rocks, as well as a historical overview of the island.
There has been an ongoing dispute about sovereignty over the Dokdo Island between Japan and Korea for a long time. So come and visit Dokdo Museum and learn about its value and significance to the people of Korea!
